The Easily knitting App?

This week my focus was on the first step of the application process - gathering data and understanding what is the best method to explain to users about technical knitting drawing.

Some concern that I had at the beginning is my knowledge in industrial knitting and how I look at technical drawing that is different from the hand knitting process.

Taking in consideration the different pattern and forms to read it, there is a big question on how I will present it in my application? I think maybe the strength will be to combined between the two. Reading industrial knitting is far more easy to understand in terms of visuality so thinking of a new system that will combine the both is what I'm looking for in this project.

It has been a while since I knitted basic simples so I want all the way back from classes that I had six years ago in finding the perfect swatches to use in my teaching app.

I found an online guide that shows the basic stitches for knitting that can help me in figuring out my language in this app.

Another very important thing for me is the UX UI, what is the visual language that this app will have. I had a lot of fun searching for inspiration and I think that the design part is something that is really important for me.

After speaking with a few residents and searching in different platforms I realized that there is a lot of ways to approach this.

Using p5js and jason files is one of the ways that could do that and there are a lot of other choices such as online ones like the Wix developer center.

I have a meeting with Shawn Van Every to discuss the best way to develop this app.
